Skunks is a racing game by Victor Matei Petrescu in the spirit of Stunts. It uses Open Dynamics Engine for the physics. This version uses GLES for rendering. Binaries where compiled with ptitSeb Codeblocks PND.

Additional Info
Now sporting the steering model from dimag0g. This model is based on physics considerations, so it's a proper solution. You may want to fiddle with nubs sensitivity, look in /appdata/skunks/config/joystick.
Controls:
Left nub, steering.
Right nub, accelerate and brake.
B, switch drive mode.
A, accelerate.
X, brake.
Y, camera change.
L and R, camera rotation.
F flip car.
New in this version:
*New steering model (thanks dimag0g for this!).
*New feature, press F to flip the car. Now you can restore the car and keep running (thanks dimag0g for this too!).

Oldschool, low poly slow driving game. A mix between Testdrive3 and Stunt Car racer. Try to get from point A to point B... it is harder than you think… in a more realistic-driving kind of way.

Yes, in the case of doing something from scratch. Here we are stuck we ODE, all parameters are passed and ODE calculates results. If it hasn't been modeled on ODE we don't have it. All we can do is to pass modified parameters to ODE which is what I'm doing. Of course your help is welcome.

The general solution would be to simulate sideslip at wheel level and self-aligning torque on steering wheel. And I still want an F1 car ;) Maybe we could cooperate on this? bit.ly/11V3F6J

Thats true dimag0g, but I will like to have some general solution that works for every car.

You don't have to limit the turning velocity to prevent roll-overs. Maybe you could create a new car (let's call it "F1" or something) and put the gravity center ridiculously low?
