A few updates (October 2012):
Fixed version number (thanks Ivanovic).
Set 'q' as shortkey to quit.
Disabled Chinese book site by default (can be reenabled in the options, but the site times out).
Support for Japanese (thanks Ekianjo). The Japanese encoding can be selected for a book, and the Japanese font VL Gothic must be set in the options (see documentation).

Thanks first for the confirmation ! Yeah I cannot wait for my Pandora to be fixed, I used to read a lot with FBreader on it and I am missing it a lot since it does not work anymore...

Thanks for including japanese support ! I cannot test it rigth now since my Pandora LCD cable is dead, but once it comes back to life I will definitely try it again :) By the way can you confirm that the update does not break the bookmarks previously stored?

Nice reader, good range of font sizes (I found one I liked anyway!). Pretty comfortable reading on the Pandora and using the gaming buttons to page up & down.
