SuperTuxKart is a Free 3d kart racing game; we want to make the game fun more than we want to make it realistic. You can play with up to 4 friends on one PC, racing against each other or just try to beat the computer (a network multiplayer feature is planned).
See the great lighthouse or drive through the sand and visit the pyramids. Race underground or in space, watching the stars passing by. Have some rest under the palms on the beach (watching the other karts overtaking you :) ). But don't eat the bananas! Watch for bowling balls, plungers, bubble gum and cakes thrown by opponents.
You can do a single race against other karts, compete in one of several Grand Prix, try to beat the high score in time trials on your own, play battle mode against your friends, and more!

This is a first early beta of SuperTuxKart, ported to the Pandora.

This port use OpenGL-ES1, so framerates are fairly good.

First thing you need to do is go the settings screen to customize keyboard and reduce detail. Use preset "2" for optimal speed.

There are some known problems. Main one is the "Render to Texture" is not working. So, in the Select Kart screen, you don't see the Spinning Karting, and there is no MiniMap in race.
Also, if you download some tracks (or karting), note that the big texture may kill the performances (you can still downsize, I suggest you use mtPaint for this, works very well).

* Switched to openal-soft 1.15 git, as it include many neon optim (thanks mcobit for the tips)
* More neon in the compile option for bullet lib

I can't find anything wrong with the performance on my GHz unit. A working minimap would be great, though.

Again: Good game, bad performance. As I have enough else I'd like to play on the Pandora I deinstall it. Rating it 3/5. If performance would be normal I'd rate it 4/5, because it'd be cool to have an open source MarioKart clone.

Graphically glitchy (as described by maintainer), but seems to work in general.

Not too far from the great kart racers such as Mario,Diddy and Crash!! Very well done.

I work on a new version with better framerates. Still GPU limited, but a bit less... Will be for build 03
