Description:
DoomRunner Front-End is a new, modern approach to Doom. It uses a completely new, redesigned interface designed with speed and simplicity in mind. No more fussing with a bulky, slow interface! DoomRunner, instead of the traditional wad tree setup, has a new "profile" system that allows you to have up to 30 internal preference files that each have their own settings for wads, video, command parameters, etc. that's easy for new players to use! This version comes packaged with functioning sample setups for FreeDoom and Doom Shareware as well as a specialized button/display config for PrBoom or Doom Legacy.

For music, install an instrument set from the following:

Either setting will work. The larger ones give you higher quality sound. Please be aware that the Timidity instrument package isn't maintained by me.

You need to change the port to Doom Legacy for Chex Quest to work. To change the port, select the tab for Chex Quest, press "Edit", then "Advanced", then in the "Select source port" menu, select "Doom Legacy". Then it shouldn't get stuck on "Running..."

Is there special procedure for chex quest? Did you fet this running? When I set up then press play it changes to running but nothing else happens. I can move around the tabs and everything, but I have to quit before I can actually run a different Doom.

For now, you can only have up to 10 saves, and they're shared for all of the wads. I'll see what I can do as far as changing/fixing this.
