Description:

Guitarix is a simple mono amplifier to be used in a 'JACKified'
environment, i.e. a system using the JACK Audio Connection Kit, a
professionally-capable audio/MIDI server and master transport control,
available here:

http://jackaudio.org/

Guitarix provides one JACK input port and two JACK output ports. It is
designed to produce nice trash/metal/rock/blues guitar sounds. Controls
for bass, treble, gain, compressor, tube selector, distortion, flanger,
freeverb, crybaby (wah) and . . . . are available.

You don't need to install jackd via opkg, uninstall it, as QjackCtl includes a newer version, 1.9.11. Remove appdata/qjackctl and execute QjackCtl again. It will ask your password to install new jackd.

Is there a step-by-step tutorial for setting up jack for pandora? I managed to install jackd, but now qjackctl isnÂ´t starting anymore.

I tried only with QjackCtl running and than starting QMMP, but no luck. Do i have to install jack with "opkg install" or can i use Qjackctl "standalone"? Thank you for support.

I use it everytime i want to listen to music while testing other Jack applications. I need to know what you tried to do, firmware version, programs version, if QjackCtl is running and jack started.
