A very handy tool for newbies like me. Thanks to Notaz for fixing it for the latest Firmware. An option to choose the type of the root file system wold still be nice... ;-)

My previous comment below can now be disregarded: SD installer now works with Super Zaxxon firmware correctly. (version 1.6.2.2. on) Very handy utility, props to Dave1234 & Notaz

If trying to create an SD with OS from 'Super Zaxxon' onwards, there were changes in the firmware not yet accounted for in the SD Installer as it stands presently - Jan 2013. Fix is easy, see - http://boards.openpandora.org/index.php/topic/11545-boot-from-sd-card-doesnt-work/#entry215283

Suggestions: include download URL to http://openpandora.org/firmware/pandora-rootfs.tar.bz2 in the installer, or possibly a download option. Fix: "If you don't have this file yet. Press Cancel and run the program" Can't press cancel, only "yes" or "no", which is not as descriptive
