Description:
Record audio with one touch of an icon, like a physical record button. You can customize the record.sh script in the /media/*/pandora/appdata/Record folder. You have to delete the old record.sh script in order to replace it with the latest version. Colons are allowed in file names on ext2 file systems but not on FAT32 file systems. This version uses mplayer to replay audio through both speakers if you installed the CodecPack.pnd. You must increase the analog recording volume from the default value of 0 in the separate Mixer program for at least the Analog Left Main Mic. The Play.pnd file is designed to be used in conjunction with this Record.pnd file.

v1.1.2.2
SoX really belongs installed in one of the execution path folders, like "/usr/local/bin", linked to an SD card folder instead of being mounted as a PND. The first time that you run the script of FBnil, it records to MP3. The second time that you run the script, recording stops.

WAV files are easier to edit than MP3 files. You can use mhWaveEdit to trim silent areas and then convert it to another format. To record in MP3, you can replace "record.sh" with the script in http://boards.openpandora.org/topic/13459-voice-recorder-2-using-sox-to-record-mp3s-on-the-fly/?p=253117

What model of SD card are you using to store the recording?

You might have to modify the record.sh script. If the output of running, "arecord -l ", from the Terminal program looks like the wiki page: http://pandorawiki.org/Microphone#Microphone then you might need to adjust the line in the record.sh script that has "hw:0,1" on it to "hw:2,0".
