TSL is an adventure game by Ulf Åström (http://www.happyponyland.net), similar in style to the classic "Rogue". You play the role of an adventurer exploring a bleak and hostile world. Battle peculiar beasts and overcome sinister traps. Improve your character by replacing body parts with machinery. This is no ordinary "fantasy" setting. Everyone loses, everyone dies.

TSL is not free software. For several reasons I have not placed it
under any conventional open source license. I might do so in the
future, but for now the following shall apply:
The source code is provided so you can compile it on any architecture
you prefer and verify what runs inside your computer.
You may distribute unmodified copies of the source package.
I don't really mind unofficial patches or ports, but I prefer if you
contact me first.
You are not allowed to sell TSL in any form (source code or binaries).
TSL comes with no warranty. Use it at your own risk.

I really like the simple iconic black and white graphics, never seen a roguelike do that before. Thanks for the info on fullscreen. Yes we users are lazy about stuff like reading. :)

@klapse: Ok, roguelike controls are awful in general :) @mcobit: Fullscreen was default before and should be so again, too. Dpad does not work in the new inventory. Can you change that, too please?

Press ? and see the helppage: You can go fullscreen by pressing Alt+Enter or by selecting it from the menu that pops up when you leftclick the top left icon in the titlebar. Would you like to have it fullscreen by default?

The controls are roguelike: either use standard roguelike keys HJKL YU BN to move, or use the dpad. Main problem with this first build is that the info text at the bottom is cut off. PLS hack the game to run fullscreen or remove the top xfce window border.
