Description:
Truecrypt is a strong file system encryption available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

The version 7.1a was submitted to Open Crypto Audit Project (technically, only win32 version was assessed), which has found no backdoors or critical issues in TrueCrypt.
The most important flaw found by the audit is the insufficient number of key derivation iterations, which may exposes weak passwords to brute-force attacks.

During first run, you can choose to install the "truecrypt" binary in /usr/bin, so that you can later use 'truecrypt' in your shell scripts for automated TrueCrypt volume mounting / unmounting.
If you like to let the PND ask you later again, just delete the file "DontAskForInstall" in the appdata directory

I didn't touch your run script, so I'd expect the install feature to work. And yeah, I will check VeraCrypt out next time.

magic_sam: Interesting, VeraCrypt seems to be an adequate successor of TrueCrypt. Would be cool to have it for Pandora, too, and migrate to VeraCrypt on all platforms.

dimag0g, is this from my description still true: "During first run, you can choose to install the "truecrypt" binary in /usr/bin, ..."?

@ dimag0g: thanks for that new version ! Do you think alternatives like VeraCrypt, CipherShed or tc-play would be worth a try ? Cheers, Magic Sam
