Description:

Audacious is an advanced audio player. It is free, lightweight, based on GTK2, runs on Linux and many other *nix platforms and is focused on audio quality and supporting a wide range of audio codecs.

Its advanced audio playback engine is considerably more powerful than GStreamer. Audacious is a fork of Beep Media Player (BMP), which itself forked from XMMS.
3.2.4 is the lastest GTK2 version and probably the lastest I package.

Tried all :( I still get:"Audacious seems to be already running but is not responding. You can start another instance of the program, but please be warned that this can cause data loss. If Audacious is not running, you can safely ignore this message. Press OK to start Audacious or Cancel to quit."

@Writing Ronin : indeed very strange : I'm using it on a dayly basis (read : audacious is running from 7h30am to 4h30pm on my pandora every day)

@sebt3 - Thanks, gave that a try but still nothing. Even tried killing all Appdata, uninstalling and reinstalling, but it just ignores my attempt to load it. Very strange.
