Description:
DoomRunner Front-End is a new, modern approach to Doom. It uses a completely new, redesigned interface designed with speed and simplicity in mind. No more fussing with a bulky, slow interface! DoomRunner, instead of the traditional wad tree setup, has a new "profile" system that allows you to have up to 30 internal preference files that each have their own settings for wads, video, command parameters, etc. that's easy for new players to use! This version comes packaged with functioning sample setups for FreeDoom and Doom Shareware as well as a specialized button/display config for PrBoom or Doom Legacy.

For music, install an instrument set from the following:

Either setting will work. The larger ones give you higher quality sound. Please be aware that the Timidity instrument package isn't maintained by me.

Why doesn't the music work when you use PrBoom? I haven't tried using Doom Legacy yet, so I don't know if music works there.

Yes it did seem to a problem with the appdata folder, thanks. Been playing alot with this and win version. Awesome!!!

After you switch to Doom Legacy in the "Advanced" menu of DoomRunner and you add "chex.wad" with the "Add a file" button, are you setting it as the main wad with the "Select main wad" menu? Also if all else fails delete the appdata folder for DoomRunner and try again.

Well, I just downloaded Doomlegacy.pnd from app store and copied chex.wad to appdata for it and it works flawlessly.
