@ekainjo, for the most part it works similar to VNC, but it's for Microsoft's built on remote desktop protocol. I guess for those who didn't want to install a 3rd party app. like VNC on their windows computer or those in a working environment that have no other choice outside what is provided.

Can you tell us how this differs from a VNC session ?
