Doubled checked these buttons are all present when installed correctly. Can I suggest following the great thread on how to install on the forum?

Now trying the standard install with no mods. The bottom of the screen is still buggy - none of the buttons are there (for combat, party formation, pause), and the message window area behaves strangely. During dialogue, 'next' and 'end' are still off-screen (I can press enter as a workaround)

@beatgeek. I've not tried the fixpack and tweak pack. I will not be able to check this until August I'm afraid. Did these issues just appear when you installed these patches?

I'm trying to play BG2, and I have the Fixpack and Tweak pack installed, but it takes a very long time for Gemrb to start up, even when I overclock to 800 mhz. Then whenever a character initiates a dialog, the bottom of the dialog box is cut off ("next" and "end dialog" buttons not there).
