Additional Info
You can use this programm for browsing the maps online or save the maps on your appdata folder and browse them offline later.

I changed some details to make it work even better on the Pandora, especially the keys and the sizes of some dialogs. I removed many mapproviders from the Combobox to get this clearer, you can reintegrate them in the settings.

The most important keys are the following:
(you can change them in the Key Options dialog i implemented)
Start / ALT : Fullscreen Mode
Then the following keys work:
Arrow Keys : pan
Arrows + Shift : wider pan
Y-Button : Zoom In
X-Button : Zoom Out
A-Button : Cycle to Next Map
B-Button : Cycle to Previous Map

Maybe you should remove the help file. There is nothing in it, and it's called 'readme' so there is no way to guess it is related to your app.

Ah, hiding the buttons does the trick. Thanks! Would be nice to have a shortcut that combines full screen and button hiding.

Care to share how you ported this ? I tried to package this a little while ago but at the time the application would launch but not display any map even though I was online... I'd like to know what you did if you don't mind explaining :) (-> on the boards probably more appropriate)

Thanks for your comment, its my first PND, so I am happy that it works and helps others. The keys for zoom and pan only work in fullscreen mode, is this perhaps the problem? Otherwise I will have a look at the implementation, here it works, so I cant immediately say whats the problem.

Can't get the pan and zoom key bindings to work, though toggling full screen works fine. Otherwise great!
