Guitarix provides one JACK input port and two JACK output ports. It is
designed to produce nice trash/metal/rock/blues guitar sounds. Controls
for bass, treble, gain, compressor, tube selector, distortion, flanger,

As I'm not a musician, I just tried to "amplify" the output of QMMP playing the latest Iron Maiden album ;) It worked, but I had to overclock to 825MHz to avoid sound stuttering. Cheers, Magic Sam

Can you try to delete appdata/guitarix folder? If it's somehow owned by root, you could try chown and chgrp it.
