Working wifi / internet connection on Pandora is required to use LXDE Installer..
Why use LXDE instead of XFCE:
- Much faster
- More responsive [MAIN MENU, etc..]
- No overbloated like XFCE
- Smaller than XFCE
- Better designed than XFCE
- Looks better on pandora small screen
- LXTaskmanager is better than XFCE one [smaller, faster..]
- LXTerminal is better than XFCE one [where you can't use proper F10 key]
- LXDE is less resource/memory hungry than XFCE [excellent for Pandora 1st batch, with less RAM]
- Touchscreen seems to be more responsive on LXDE than XFCE [tested on super zaxxon beta 3]
..and finally, you need to test it for yourself to choose best windows manager for Your openpandora :)
Audacious in other cat because category in audacious pxml was wrong.. check that fistly. Maybe you're using sebt3 audacious version from his personal file repo. That version was with wrong pxml..

Then you should re-label almost all apps in repo to alpha/beta , since they're based mostly on betas, and not on final-final versions.

Other than that LXDE doesnt mess anything with XFCE, so after restart of Your OP, you should boot to XFCE normally.

"Release" would be the product as a whole. Come on, StreaK. Don't tell me that by making an installer for an unstable DE means you can label it release. The end product is what users care about, you could argue that the C&C port is 'stable' just because the pnd launches.

These were changes to the desktop settings through the GUI. I just reflashed and don't have time to reproduce the problem, sorry. Also note that the categories in the menu were wrong (Audacious in Other?), and dupe icons in the taskbar when I first switched GUI's. Thanks for the up anyways.
