The OHRRPGCEngine is available at last for a Pandora near you! Play all sorts of RPGs, and make your own!

The OHRRPGCE is a free open-source, cross-platform (Windows, Mac and GNU/Linux), and easy-to-use utility with which you can create your own 2D RPG game in a style similar to the classic Final Fantasy games on the NES, SNES and GBA which have so shaped the RPG genre. No programming is required to create a game, though there is a scripting language for customizing the engine.

Additional Info

I've chosen, in my wisdom, to force OMAP SDL fullscreen mode. If you for some reason need to close the engine manually, hit the Pandora Button, right click on the window's icon on the panel and select "close." It generally shouldn't be a problem.

I've shipped the pnd with the "Vikings of Midgard' demo game as well as the test games that come with the source distribution.

wow! Blast from the past! Getting games from http://rinku.castleparadox.com/Ohrhits/ (can not find my old ones) Although no sound? No matter, the OHRrpg community made some great games, well worth a few hours of your time. I think I need to underclock my machine.
