Additional Info
Here is Pinta, a clone of Paint.NET for Linux.

You will need the Mono RunTime PND for this to run (just put the PND in the usual place, and pinta will find and use it automatically)

Pinta is powerfull and complete painting software, with many options available. It can be compared to GIMP, but much easier to use.

v1.7.0.04
Sorry nobody has commented on this before: For me, this is the best Pandora image editing software and I still regularly use it on mine. Oh in the meantime, I have also been using the "original" Pinta on W1ndows even, because I find it so easy to use.
