IT WORKS! I can now switch profiles with a script/keyboard shortcut. That layout file still writes to the NAND, but I'm not worried about it.

Hmm... well for the moment it looks like I might be able to work around it by directly writing my desired layout to /mnt/pnd/qjoypad/.qjoypad3/layout and then passing the layout argument into QJoyPad to force it to update. Initial tests are promising.

Hey Silent-Hunter, thanks for porting this as it has been very useful. I am trying to get on the fly layout switching working from the terminal, but at the moment, QJoyPad seems to write the input layout argument to the NAND, but then read from appdata. Can QJoyPad write inputs to Appdata instead?
