Synergy is a server-client-application that lets you easily share a single mouse and keyboard between multiple computers with different operating systems, without special hardware.
@zapman: I started a topic in the forum. I can guide you how to better implement synergyc so that you can either start it with a shortkey or an icon. Let me know what you prefer.

yes, indeed, Synergy works like a charm! One thing could be improved though: it would be nice if Synergy remembers the last ip entered if run in client mode. the typing you have to do each time is annoying. even better would be a list of the last connections but a list with n=1 would suffice :) thx!

ah sweet, controlling my xp laptop from pandora is great and saves me from leaning forward and straining my back, just moved house so laptop is on a coffee desk waiting to be moved onto my proper desk!
