Could you change in scripts/vlc.sh the $* to "$@" ? That would fix calling mediafiles with spaces. Also, adding the same as arguments to the pre and post calls would mean I could use the filename.

@urjaman : I'm glad you got vlc in your language. btw then most my PNDs should also follow your LANG setting (and probaly most PNDs will too)

vlc is the first pnd (random sampling) I've tested that actually has working localization :P [ I'm running my pandora with LANG=fi_FI as an experiment ]

Can the maintainer produce an update for VLC ? THe latest version is 2.0.3 and this one (1.1.7.1) is ancient. An update would be more than welcome!
