Description:
amsynth is an analog modelling (a.k.a virtual analog) synthesizer.

It mimics the operation of early analog subtractive synthesizers with
classic oscillator waveforms, envelopes, filter, modulation and effects.

The aim was to keep the synth easy to use, so you can more easily get the
sounds you want ;-)

There are currently several different ways to run amsynth:
* stand-alone application using JACK, ALSA or OSS
* DSSI plug-in
* LV2 plug-in

v1.6.1.0
Ouch, just been playing with it a little more .. didn't notice on some of the patches with slow Attack stages, but the latency on this little synth is .. well .. a little disappointing. I'm not sure where its happening, but lets hope it can be improved somehow with configuration ..

v1.6.1.0
This is a fantastic synthesizer for the Pandora, and it works surprisingly well .. my only grip is that it doesn't run in full-screen mode, which would make it a little easier to access all the controls out of the box - but maybe thats something for a future update .. anyway, great work on the port!
