Description:
Guitarix is a simple mono amplifier to be used in a 'JACKified'
environment, i.e. a system using the JACK Audio Connection Kit, a
professionally-capable audio/MIDI server and master transport control,
available here:

http://jackaudio.org/

Guitarix provides one JACK input port and two JACK output ports. It is
designed to produce nice trash/metal/rock/blues guitar sounds. Controls
for bass, treble, gain, compressor, tube selector, distortion, flanger,
freeverb, crybaby (wah) and . . . . are available.

v0.32.3.1
I tried QMMP with jack support but unfortunately no luck so far. Any hints? Have you a working setup (i.e. Qjackctl plus QMMP)? Would be great...

You could try with QMMP, i compiled it with jack support too. Go to Preferences-Modules-Output and select Jack module.

v0.32.1.1
Love this one. I soldered a nice 4-Pin Adapter for my Guitarplug. The only question is: is there an audio player which can run simultaneosly with Jack Qjackctl for jaming? Every player i used did block my audiohardware.
