You need the data files. Buy the PC version http://thelettervsixtim.es/ or http://store.steampowered.com/app/70300/.
Once installed, find your /data folder and copy it to /pandora/appdata/vvvvv

Yes, it's slower, but it's slowed down smoothly. If you can live with the game's being a lot easier, this is brilliant.

@SoniX The Linux version I got off the indie bundle had 64 and 32bit (x86) executables and a data folder. Copying that as /pandora/appdata/vvvvvv/data got the game working for me. What version do you have? I believe old Windows versions were Flash based, so may not have separate data files.

Re: speed, even at 1220Mhz it's not running full speed. It feels about 80% as fast as my netbook, and even that's not full speed. By the timer in time trial mode on the Pandora it's running at about half real time. Perfectly playable at anywhere over 1Ghz though IMO, if a little easy.
