So I tried using QJoyPad for external controller support, but DraStic seems to take over SDL input and cancels out the custom mapping created. Is custom button mapping and/or external controller support a feature that could ever work its way into DraStic?

@neartao yeah, i don't understand why it needs to reload the data EVERY SINGLE TIME instead of caching and associating the icon data with the file name. This is extremely inefficient.

@ekianjo this is certainly the case for (large) .zip'd rpms... it might make sense for it to dump out icons in the directory once it has extracted the data so it doesn't have to decompress the roms all the time to get the icon data.

@Exophase : is it possible to disable the rom picture display at the bottom right hand corner ? It makes the rom selection sluggish as hell and personally I don't need it and don't want it - at least I'd like to be able to turn it off somewhere.
