BlockOut® II is a free adaptation of the original BlockOut® DOS game edited by California Dreams in 1989. BlockOut® II has the same features than the original game with few graphic improvements. The game has been designed to reproduce the original game kinematics as accurately as possible. The score calculation is also nearly similar to the original.
Changes in build 3:
- Space is drop again, too now.
Changes in build 2:
- Always start in fullscreen mode to avoid crashing with framebuffersetting
- Disabled display of fps

@dsleaf67 i have 1GHz unit, if yours is CC i suggest you might need a swapfile to stop the crashes you're describing, you can get a useful PND for swapfile management here: http://repo.openpandora.org/?page=detail&app=swaptools-0.1-slaeshjag

Its not always crashing for me on 2. I have since got to level 5 a couple of times but I have yet to play with out a crash. What unit you have?

plays great! no crashes for me and i tested past lvl 3 lots of fun, really cool, brings back memories

This is awesome! I wanted to try and port this one myself but didn't have time. Lost a lot of college time to the game on old DOS monichrome monitor in my dorm. Been playing DOS version til now. 4/5 since it locked up on me.
