To capture individual pictures, use guvcview (Configure webcam menu). Set up the resolution and other parameters, and push the 'i' key (or your webcam's capture button) to take a photo.

Video recording with guvcview wouldn't work for me, that's why I included mencoder in this PND. Undortunately, mencoder offers no live preview while recording. Maybe you will be more lucky - try to record a video in guvcview ('v' key or the Cap Video button) and see for yourself. For best results you may want to enable hardware acceleration by editing appdata/camcoder/.guvcviewrc file and setting hwaccel=1, although this didn't work for me either.

Version 1.2 is compiled against latest firmware libs (SuperZaxxon 1.62+). Older firmware is compatible with the archived version.
