Description:
CEightY is an interpreter for software written in Chip8 that also partially supports SuperChip.

There are lots of games, demos and apps available legal and for free from the internet.

Chip8 interpreters are often referred to as emulators because of the machinecode-like look of the language.

Visit http://chip8.com/ or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chip8 for more informations about Chip8.

Additional Info
Chip8 uses a 4x4 Buttonlayout for controls. It is mapped to...

1 2 3 4
q w e r
a s d f
y x c v

...by default, since every game uses different buttons for directions etc. You can change the mapping by pressing 'Select'. Configurations are saved for every game individually and it's possible to overwrite the default settings. If you changed the defaults and want to get the originals back delete the 'default.conf' in the appdata directory.

Most Chip8 games speed depends on the frequency it is running. 400Hz fits good for the most of them, but you can always change it, if you want games to run faster/slower.

Is the PND package definitely valid? Doesn't open/extract in PNDTools v0.2.0...

Pretty nice, the per game keymapping is very necessary and luckily it works like a charm. Weird retro emulation goodness!

Proper advanced technological brilliance! I might have been drunk and imagined it, but I recall playing with a chip8 "emulator" on my c64 one time.... Nice work thanks.
