GemRB is created by the GemRB team, see www.gemrb.org. GemRB (Game engine made with pre-Rendered Background) is a portable open-source implementation of Bioware's Infinity Engine. It was written to support pseudo-3D role playing games based on the Dungeons/Dragons ruleset (Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale series, Planescape: Torment).

@gamez, I tried it and it works here. Perhaps its because I'm using the 'Heart of Winter' version which is slightly different. If you're using the original it may help to change the config file pandora/appdata/gemrb/iwd.cfg - look for the game type how and try changing it to iwd.

hello for the last update it seems that there is a save game problem with icewind dale. when you save a game you can't reload it because the slots disappear. could you confirm this issue?
