@ekianjo: I tested with charcoal and it seems to work fine for pressure. The pen I used didn't seem super sensitive to pressure. Not sure if proper or not. Could it be that part is hardware related?

one question. It seems that when using the pen on the right side of the screen (extreme right) the pressure is not detected anymore. It works fine everywhere else and it works fine on the area i want to paint if i scroll it as well, so it seems to be related to the touchscreen area. ANy idea why ?
