Ginge is an application that can run many GP2X F100/F200, Wiz games and programs on other ARM Linux platforms, which currently includes Pandora, Caanoo and Wiz itself. It is not a full hardware emulator like MAME, PicoDrive or similar, it does not emulate the CPU. It can be considered as compatibility layer similar to Wine on PC Linux, however it does emulate small portion of MMSP2 and Pollux system-on-chips. It operates by hooking certain system calls and using realtime patching of code that accesses memory mapped hardware directly.

*Note: TJ Hooka has modified this version to include some extra libraries and slightly modified binaries to increase compatibility and allow for GINGE packs to be created. If you would like to know more, please refer to the openpandora boards!

r4.6 changes: Touchscreen support and another increase in compatibility!

r4.7 change: Just a small touch up for compatibility, switched out bennu runtime and a few other things. Less than 150 gp2x homebrew left unworking. Wiz support still needs some work, probably about 50% working. *quick patch to fix glouton added today*

r4.8 changes: Minor, switched ufxi runtime to get touchscreen working for them.

r4.9 changes: Changed up some libs to increase Wiz compatibility while retaining current functionality.
