to seany, and all those who had this problem; It works only when installed on ext filesystem (as MarkW stated). This "chmod : changing permissions of browser0 : operation not premitted" issue happens only on FAT SD cards.

Weird. Try removing ..../pandora/appdata/sage to get a fresh start. You can also check /tmp/pndrun_sage.out for errors. Did you perhaps by accident run the PND as root?

i have a ext3 card, sage opens (a terminal) but it says : chmod : changing permissions of browser0 : operation not premitted then the sage banner is shown, then it quits.. how do i look for errors?

Oops, didn't check if it works on FAT - probably the bugs/limitations in the overlay mounting on FAT are causing problems in this case. It's probably not easy to avoid this problem. It's easy enough to format (part of) your SD cards as ext, so I'm not even going to try. Sorry, FAT-fans :)
